Editorial & Portfolio Makeup Looks for Camera-Ready Finishes
Professional makeup requires a different level of precision. Whether for a fashion shoot, a portfolio update, or media work, I design looks that hold up under high-definition cameras and studio lights.
About this collection
When I work on editorial looks, I prioritize texture and light reflection over heavy coverage. High-definition cameras reveal everything, so I focus on skin prep and precise contouring that looks real in person but creates the necessary dimension under studio strobes or harsh lighting. We work as a team to match the makeup to the shoot concept, not just your face shape.
Why Editorial Makeup is Different
Unlike bridal or party makeup, editorial looks are about the camera. My process starts with a skin analysis to understand how your specific complexion will react to different studio lighting setups. I use a curated selection of products—think Nars, Huda Beauty, and Too Faced—that are formulated to withstand bright lights without looking cakey or separating after a few hours.
The Educator’s Standard
Because I am a CIDESCO-certified educator, my technical standards are rigorous. I don't just apply makeup; I structure it. You’ll see that reflected in the clean lines of my eye makeup and the deliberate, skin-focused finish of the base. Whether you need a high-fashion glossy lid, a sharp cut crease, or a fresh-faced 'no-makeup' look for a commercial portfolio, the goal is always durability and camera-readiness.
Working at the Studio
I run my operations out of my studio in Ghatkopar East. For shoots, this environment allows me to control the lighting and ensure that the makeup is tested properly before you step on set. I am selective about the projects I take on because I believe in giving every shoot my full attention. If you have a specific creative brief or a mood board, bring it along—I enjoy the collaborative process of refining a look to fit your vision perfectly.
