Why I Teach Saree Draping

I’m Meenakshi, and if you ask me, a saree brings out real style, but only if it’s draped right. I started teaching this masterclass because I saw too many people hassling over pleats or waiting for someone else to help. I want you to have that 'svata'ālā vēḷ' (time for yourself) at every wedding, puja, or party - not just stand around with pins and safety clips.

What You'll Actually Learn

• I show you my biggest hack: the pre-pleated saree technique. You’ll learn how to pleat and iron your saree ahead of time, so you’re never in a rush.
• I’ll walk you through box folding - a simple way to store your prepped saree that keeps it neat and ready.
• We measure for that custom fit. I teach you how to check and adjust, so your saree looks made for you.
• You’ll watch me drape live on a model, step by step. No hiding the tricky bits!

Mala khas karun Maharashtrian Nauvari style khup avadte. I spend extra time on the Nauvari saree draping tutorial - trust me, after you wear it, you’ll feel that unique confidence! We also look at South Indian saree draping tips if you want that classic vibe.

How We Learn

All classes are offline and hands-on in Goregaon, Mumbai. You’ll get messy, practice a lot, and walk out with a skill for life. Trial session available if you want to test it out first.
