In these sessions, we use lighting to sculpt the form, making your silhouette the focus. Without color to distract, the bond between you and your partner, or even your little one waiting for their sibling, becomes the quiet, powerful hero of the frame.

Why Monochrome for Maternity?
Color can sometimes distract from the emotional weight of a portrait. By using high-contrast black and white, we emphasize the texture of your skin, the curve of the bump, and the intensity in a partner's gaze. It feels classic, editorial, and clean.
The Silhouette Experience
Silhouette work requires a specific lighting setup in my Sector 110 studio. We place you against a bright background to create a crisp outline, effectively turning your profile into a work of art. These images are perfect for capturing the delicate, changing shape of your body during pregnancy.
Planning Your Session
Whether you want a mix of fine art portraits or a dedicated silhouette session, we can tailor the approach. I provide access to my studio wardrobe, including drapes and gowns that work exceptionally well in monochrome. If you are nervous about posing, do not worry. I guide you through every movement to ensure you feel like the queen you are.
We will spend 2 to 3 hours in the studio, and I will deliver your high-resolution, professionally retouched images within two weeks. This is your chance to document a chapter of life that passes far too quickly.
