I prioritize a baby-led approach, meaning we move at your newborn's pace to keep them calm and safe throughout the session. You do not need to worry about props or outfits; my studio is fully stocked with swaddles, headbands, and soft textures, so you can simply focus on the baby.
A Safe, Gentle Approach
Newborn photography is not just about the images, it is about the experience. Because I operate a baby-led studio, we never force poses. If the baby needs a feed, a change, or a cuddle, we stop. This patience is exactly what results in those peaceful, sleeping portraits you see here. My Sector 110 studio is climate-controlled and designed to be a quiet, comfortable space where you and your baby can relax.
Including the Whole Family
I love capturing the first dynamic between siblings. The images you see of sisters holding their new sibling are some of my favorites. We integrate parents and siblings into the session naturally, ensuring that the older children feel included rather than sidelined. Whether it is a quiet, posed portrait or a candid moment of discovery, these images document the start of your family's new chapter.
Everything Is Provided
Planning a shoot with a newborn is enough work as it is. When you book a session, my entire collection of studio wardrobe, wraps, headbands, and props is available for you to use. You do not need to stress about coordinating tiny outfits or buying specific fabrics. We will discuss your color preferences before the session to ensure the setups complement the style you want, whether that is classic neutrals, soft pastels, or something more vibrant.
Why Book Early
Newborn sessions are best captured within the first two weeks of life when babies are at their sleepiest and most curled up. I recommend booking during your third trimester to ensure I have availability around your due date.
