Global MMA Fight Camps: Train Like a Pro in Thailand
To reach the world stage, you need world-class exposure. I plan and lead intensive training camps at Thailand’s top gyms to push you beyond local limits.
A breakdown of the cost and experience of training in Thailand. This vlog gives a tour of the famous Banchamek Gym, home of Buakaw, and shows what a training session looks like. This is the kind of exposure I provide for my team.
People ask why I need to be at international camps. My job is to watch, analyze, and correct. Here I am cornering and coaching during a sparring session in Thailand, identifying weaknesses that we need to fix.
A vlog from our fight camp in Bangkok. This was a week of training, fighting, and experiencing the culture. Even though the results weren't all wins, the international experience for my young fighters is priceless.
My love for Muay Thai is what got me into this sport. This is me, back in my element, training in Thailand. I go there not just to coach, but to keep learning and sharpening my own skills.
A dream come true meeting the legend himself, Buakaw. I've watched his videos a million times, and his work ethic is an inspiration. It was an honor to be at his gym.
A pure fan moment for one of my fighters meeting her hero, Buakaw. These experiences are incredibly motivating and remind us why we love this sport.
A great grappling session with Coach Bruno Azevedo at Phuket Fight Club. I'm always learning and connecting with other top coaches to bring back new techniques and knowledge to Team Dojang.
About this collection
Don't expect a guided holiday. When we train at hubs like Yokkao or Phuket Fight Club, it’s a pure grind—you’ll be sparring with pros, getting pushed in 3-hour sessions, and learning the hard way. I am there to watch, correct your technique, and push you when you’re gassed, but the work is entirely yours to put in.
If you are serious about fighting professionally, you cannot stay in your comfort zone. My goal for Team Dojang is to get us ready for international promotions like Road to UFC, and that requires experience you just can't get at home.
The Reality of International Camps
We visit gyms in Thailand not to pose for pictures, but to absorb the atmosphere. A single group session costs around 500 Baht (approx. 1200-1500 INR). When we go, we are there for the sparring. You will face fighters who have hundreds of bouts under their belts. This is where you learn to handle real fight stress, manage your breathing, and adapt to different styles like Muay Thai and BJJ in real-time.
My Role as Your Coach
I don’t just send you off on a trip. I am there with you. My job is to analyze your sparring sessions, identify the gaps in your defense, and make immediate adjustments. I’ve cornered over 500 fights—I know how to keep you focused when the pressure is high. Whether we are dealing with airline luggage fiascos or post-fight recovery on Khaosan Road, I manage the logistics so you can focus on the mat.
Why We Train Abroad
- Technical Exposure: You train alongside legends like Buakaw and elite coaches to learn new grappling and striking details.
- Conditioning: We use tools like altitude masks and grueling 4-hour fight camps to prepare your body for 5-minute professional rounds.
- Mental Toughness: Getting beaten up in a gym thousands of miles from home builds a different kind of confidence. You learn how to lose, how to recover, and how to get back in the ring the next day.
Entry to my fight team is earned through trial sparring. If you are ready to put in the work and stop playing safe, let’s talk.
Manas Daimary
I started Dojang on a balcony with 8 students, and now my only goal is to see an Indian fighter lift the UFC belt. I don’t just teach; I corner, manage, and push my fighters through the toughest international camps to make them world-ready.
