This video shows the fresh, organic henna cones I use for my clients, along with examples of the intricate bridal designs I create. Quality ingredients are key to great mehandi.
About My Process & Behind the Scenes
Before I draw a single line, I prepare my own natural henna cones using fresh ingredients. Because I travel to your home across the Mumbai region, this preparation is the most important part of my day. It ensures the stain is dark, safe, and rich, whether I am working on a quick guest design or a full bridal commission.
My process is built on convenience and quality. When you book me, you are not just hiring an artist; you are getting the benefit of home service. I come to your location in Roha, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, or Mumbai, saving you the stress of travel. This is especially important for bridal and baby shower appointments, where comfort matters.
Freshness Matters
I believe the quality of the henna cone defines the final result. I make my own batches to ensure the paste is smooth and consistent. This helps me get those clean, sharp lines for detailed portrait work or traditional mandalas without the paste breaking or clogging. For bridal clients, I use a specific mix that guarantees that deep, dark stain we all love.
Customization and Planning
Every design is a conversation. Before I start, we discuss what you want. If you are looking for custom portraits—like a Lord Vitthal figure, a couple's initials, or baby shower calligraphy—I take the time to sketch the layout on your hands first. I don't follow a rigid template for everyone; I adjust the density and the style based on whether you have hours to sit for a bridal piece or if we need a fast, high-quality application for wedding guests.
Why Hand-Made Cones?
Commercial cones often have chemicals that can cause reactions or give a light, orange stain. By using my own natural mix, I keep the experience safe for all skin types, including expecting mothers. Whether it is a simple Arabic vine or an elaborate bridal piece, the focus remains on detail and longevity of the stain.
