About Editorial & Campaign Artistry
Editorial work demands a different focus than bridal. While bridal is about longevity for long hours, editorial makeup is designed to survive intense studio lighting and close-up camera angles without looking flat. Whether it is a bold graphic eye or hyper-dewy skin for a campaign, the products I use are specifically selected to pop under studio strobes while remaining seamless to the naked eye.
Precision for the Lens
When preparing for portfolio shoots or ad campaigns, the makeup must perform differently than it does at a wedding. Studio strobes and high-resolution cameras pick up textures and color shifts that are invisible in natural light. I use specialized contouring and zero-flashback formulas to ensure your features remain sculpted on camera, preventing the white cast that often happens under harsh lighting. My approach for these sessions is collaborative, working closely with photographers and art directors to match the aesthetic of the shoot.
High-Fashion vs. Traditional
Editorial artistry gives me the creative freedom to experiment with looks that I might not do for a traditional ceremony.
