On set, my role goes beyond the initial makeup application. I stay for touch ups, adjust the look based on changing studio lighting, and maintain consistency across different scenes. Whether we are chasing a festive aesthetic or a sharp, modern editorial mood, I coordinate directly with your creative team to ensure the makeup enhances the photography without distracting from the outfit.
Photoshoot makeup is a different animal compared to bridal or event makeup. It is less about longevity for a party and more about how the colors, textures, and finishes translate through a camera lens.
My Approach to Editorial Projects
I approach every shoot as a collaboration. Before we even pick up a brush, I prefer to discuss the mood board, the lighting setup, and the final look you want to achieve. This preparation helps me select the right foundation formulas and setting techniques that won't reflect white in flash photography or look greasy under studio strobes.
