About Photoshoot & Styled Looks
Photoshoot makeup requires a different approach than a party or wedding look. Studio lighting has a way of washing out color and texture, which is why I prioritize high-pigment products and precise contouring that holds up under professional cameras. If we are shooting outdoors or with flash, my focus stays on a base that looks seamless in every frame, not just in person.
When working on photoshoots, the goal isn't just to look good in the mirror, but to look perfect in the raw files. I specialize in makeup that handles harsh studio lighting and varying angles without caking or creasing.
My Approach to Editorial Looks
- Base Perfection: For editorial work, I use high-definition, long-wear products that resist shine and maintain coverage for hours. Whether you need a 'Heeramandi' inspired vintage royal vibe or a modern, edgy aesthetic, the base is always adjusted to the lighting.
- Definition & Angles: On camera, flat makeup disappears. I focus on structural makeup—sharp contouring, defined brows, and precise lash placement—to ensure your features remain prominent in every shot.
- Hairstyling for the Lens: Hair needs to stay in place while looking natural. I use professional-grade holding products to create everything from sleek, high-fashion updos to romantic, soft waves that catch the light.
Preparation for Your Shoot
If you have a mood board, send it over. I love collaborating with photographers and creative directors to ensure the makeup complements the lighting and color palette of your project. If you are shooting on location, my kit is fully portable and ready to travel, ensuring we can achieve the same quality on-site as we would in a controlled studio environment.
