About Behind the Scenes: My Process
During our trial at my North Bengaluru studio, we don't just test shades. We create a detailed mood board, analyze your outfit, and coordinate with your hairstylist to ensure your look is completely cohesive. This session is the blueprint for your event, allowing us to refine your glass skin finish and eye intensity so there are zero surprises when you finally step into the chair on the big day.
My process is built around reducing stress. By the time the wedding or shoot day arrives, you should feel calm and confident, not anxious about how you will look.
The Trial Experience
I strongly encourage a trial at my North Bengaluru studio. It is where we strip away the guesswork. We try out products from MAC, NARS, and Charlotte Tilbury to see exactly how they interact with your skin. This is also where we solve technical challenges, like ensuring your foundation is flash-proof for photography or adjusting the intensity of your eye makeup to match your jewelry and outfit.
Collaboration is Key
Makeup is only one part of your look. I view my role as a partner in your overall style. I make it a point to communicate with your hairstylist and sometimes even your outfit designer. If we are doing a traditional Muhurtham look, we focus on durability. If it is a modern editorial shoot, we focus on texture and lighting.
On-Set and On-Venue
Whether I am traveling to a venue in Coorg or working on a studio set in Bangalore, my kit is packed for versatility. During the 'getting ready' process, I prioritize a relaxed atmosphere. It is not just about the makeup. It is about those quiet moments of transformation before the event begins. If you are hiring me, you are getting someone who stays until the end for touch-ups, ensures your saree draping is perfect, and makes sure you look like the best version of yourself under every light.
