About Academy Life & New Beginnings
You aren't just learning techniques; you are getting the hands-on practice that matters. From day one, every student receives a complete starter kit—including a mannequin and professional brushes—so you can practice at the studio and home without worrying about extra costs. When you walk into my Mahalakshmi Layout studio, you start working with products and models immediately, because that is the only way to build real confidence.
What does a day in my academy actually look like? It is intense, creative, and very supportive. We don't believe in just watching theory; you learn by doing.
My 35-day professional makeup course is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a job-ready artist. We start with the fundamentals—color theory, skin prep, and product knowledge—and quickly move to real-world application. You will learn everything from traditional South Indian bridal looks to modern international styles, Brazilian makeup techniques, and advanced hairstyling.
Practice is the heart of my academy. You won't just stand and watch. You will work on mannequins to master your hand movements, and then progress to live models to understand skin textures and lighting. Since I provide the products during your training, you don't need to stress about expenses while you learn.
