Traditional Haldi & Mehndi Decor

Thematic Backdrop

Style: Traditional festive theme using bright Yellow, Orange, or Hot Pink color palettes.
Material: Combination of fabric drapes and hanging marigold strings (Genda Phool). Marigolds are a mix of fresh front layers and artificial volume layers.
Photo Op: Includes one quirky photobooth prop element such as a decorated bicycle, signboard, or floral frame.

Seating Configuration

Main Seating: A decorated Jhula (Swing) or low-seating Diwan setup for the couple, embellished with cushions and side bolsters.
Comfort: Matching cushioned ottoman or rug provided for the Mehndi application area.

Props & Detailing

Traditional Elements: 6-8 colorful Rajasthani umbrellas (chatris) placed around the venue or suspended from the ceiling.
Floor Decor: Brass or clay pots (Matkas) filled with marigolds placed at stage corners.
Signage: One welcome board displayed on a wooden easel.

Backdrop & Stage Construction

Dimensions: Standard stage backdrop coverage approx. 10ft to 12ft width.
Structure: Pipe and drape system masked with high-quality satin or lycra fabrics (white, pastel pink, or peach).
Floral Arrangement: Heavy usage of artificial silk flowers (roses, hydrangeas) creating a top runner or circular ring. Includes approx. 10-15% fresh filler flowers (gypsophila) for texture.
Signage: Inclusion of one standard Neon Sign (e.g., 'Better Together' or 'Love') mounted on the backdrop.

Furniture & Props

Couple Seating: One premium 2-seater sofa (White Carved Maharaja Bench or Tufted Victorian Sofa).
Side Decor: Two 3ft gold-plated metal stands placed on either side of the sofa, topped with artificial floral bouquets or LED candles.
Flooring: Clean red or grey carpet for the stage platform (assumes venue stage structure exists).

Lighting & Ambiance

Stage Wash: 4-6 LED Par cans to provide ambient color wash on the drapes.
Focus Light: 2 Halogen or LED spots focused on the couple seating area for photography brightness.

Grand Reception Stage

Size: Wide stage setup (20ft to 24ft width) suitable for group photography.
Design: Layered backdrop with heavy draping and intricate artificial floral pasting on upper borders and side panels.
Ceiling: Includes hanging floral chandeliers or wisteria hangings above the couple's seating.
Furniture: One 'Grand Wedding Sofa' (Gold/Silver finish) plus 2 side chairs for parents.
Visuals: Includes 4 units of cold fire (pyro) shots for the Jaimala moment.

Entrance & Walkway

Entrance Gate: A themed box-arch or floral arch gate at the venue entry (approx. 10ft height).
Welcome Board: Standard easel board with floral pasting.
Aisle: 50-60 running feet of Red or Green carpet.
Aisle Props: 6 to 8 decorative pillars/pedestals lining the walkway, topped with large artificial flower balls or LED lamps.

Lighting Specification

Illumination: Full stage wash lighting (10-12 PAR cans), profile lights for the couple, and fairy lights used in the entrance arch and backdrop.

What We Love Doing

Small intimate ring ceremonies or full-on grand shaadis, I handle it all.
Mehndi functions with bright, fun vibes.
Main wedding day setups - from the stage to the seating, I make sure it all connects.
Anniversary parties too, especially those big milestones like 25th or 50th.

Our Khaas (Special) Style

My style is a mix of classic and modern. I’m big on dreamy backdrops and personalized wedding stage decor that actually feel like you.

Dense floral wall backdrops if you want that timeless, romantic look.
Soft, draped fabrics for a cozy, elegant scene.
Modern circular arches - either full-on floral or simple, depending on your style.

Lights? Bohot zaroori (super important). I use lighting for mood:

Custom neon signs for that trendy touch.
Lots of candles for that romantic reception lighting.
Glowing numbers for anniversaries, to make them feel extra special.
