Major Styling Projects & Industry Credentials
I started with a statistics degree and ended up on the sets of Netflix's biggest hits. These projects are the real-world crash course I now bring to my mentorship.
A truly unforgettable moment with the master storyteller himself, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the 'Heeramandi' team. Being a costume assistant on this project was a masterclass in period styling and grand-scale production.
On the set of 'Heeramandi' with the talented Shanaya Kapoor and our amazing costume team. Working on a Netflix period drama requires immense teamwork, research, and attention to historical detail.
Seeing my name in the credits for 'Heeramandi' as a Costume Assistant. This is a professional milestone I'm incredibly proud of and a testament to the hard work our entire team put into this beautiful series.
The official invitation to the Gaurav Gupta bridal couture show. Receiving this beautiful, custom bell was an honor and marked my entry into an exclusive industry event as a recognized stylist.
My journey from a statistics graduate to being invited to a major couture show is the foundation of my mentorship. This video captures the self-doubt, the hustle, and the ultimate reward of pursuing a career in fashion.
A behind the scenes look at styling Shalini Passi for the Netflix hit 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives'. This project shows my experience working with high-profile personalities and creating iconic looks for television.
This seat had my name on it. It's more than just a chair; it's a symbol of recognition in the fashion industry, a goal that I help my mentees work towards through practical guidance and career support.
About Major Projects & Credentials
Working on a massive production like Heeramandi taught me more about hierarchy, historical research, and set etiquette in one month than any textbook ever could. When you're managing costumes for a project of that scale, there is no room for guessing—you either know the logistics of the shoot, or you learn them on the fly while the director is yelling cut.
Looking at these photos, it's easy to see the glamour of a Netflix set or the buzz of a Gaurav Gupta couture show. But the reality is a lot of running around, last-minute fixes, and handling high-pressure situations before the camera even starts rolling.
My journey from a statistics graduate to a costume assistant on Heeramandi and styling for Fabulous Lives was built on trial and error. That’s exactly why I started my mentorship program. I don't want you to waste time guessing how to build a stylist kit or how to handle on-set pressure.
I break down my experience into actionable steps for you:
- The Industry Machinery: We look at how productions actually function. It's not just about picking outfits; it's about the lifecycle of a garment from sourcing to the final credit roll.
- Navigating the Pivot: If you are coming from a corporate background like I did, we map out how your existing skills translate into fashion.
- Real Talk: I don't give fluffy advice. Whether it's the financial reality of entry-level styling or how to cold-email for assistant roles, I share the process exactly as I lived it.
These projects are my credentials, but they are also my syllabus. If you want to know how to move from 'interested' to 'actually working on sets,' let's chat.
