Our Story: From Lockdown Dream to Handmade Collective
What started as a ₹300 project between my mom and me during lockdown has grown into a community of 15 incredible women. We pour our hearts into every knot and stitch, hoping to bring a little handmade magic into your home.

About Our Story: Handmade with Heart
Because every single piece we make is knotted by hand rather than produced by machines, our timeline is a bit different. For custom or bulk orders, we typically need about 20 to 30 days of lead time to ensure everything is perfect. If you have a special event or a gifting idea in mind, planning ahead really helps me and my team create something truly special for you.
When people see our finished crochet toys or macrame wall hangings, they often assume it's easy, but our reality is late nights, sore hands, and a whole lot of running around. My journey with Macrame Karigari began in a small corner of my room in 2020. I had 300 rupees, a bunch of yarn, and absolutely no idea how to run a business. I taught myself everything, from editing videos for Instagram to managing logistics, all while holding down a 9-5 job.
Today, I am proud to share this journey with a team of 15 strong women. We are not a factory. We are a sisterhood. When you order from us, you aren't just getting a product; you are supporting a process that values patience over speed. We use only skin-friendly, sustainable cotton yarns for our amigurumi plushies, forever flowers, and boho home decor, ensuring everything is safe for kids and gentle on the planet.
Our philosophy is simple: 'Busy raho mast raho' (stay busy, stay happy). Whether we are crafting a custom macrame basket for a birthday, a set of crochet Rakhis, or one of our signature amigurumi bunnies, we put that same intent into every order.
