Our mantra is 'Busy raho mast raho' (Stay busy, stay happy). This shows the late nights and dedicated hours my mom and I put in, surrounded by flowers and yarn, to bring our creations to life.

What started in a corner of my room with just ₹300 is now a team effort involving 15 women. Because every single piece is hand-knotted or crocheted without the help of machines, the process takes time—usually about 24 days for custom orders. We don't rush the craft, so if you have a specific vision or deadline, please reach out early. You aren't just buying decor; you're supporting a story of patience and persistence.
How We Started
Macrame Karigari began in 2020 during the lockdown. It was just my mother and me, some yarn, and a desire to make something beautiful while the world felt like it was standing still. We learned everything on the fly—from editing videos to packing, from managing orders to handling shipping. There were no shortcuts, just trial and error.
The Team and the Hustle
Today, we are a sisterhood of 15 strong women. We don't use machines. Every wall hanging, crochet basket, and amigurumi toy is made by hand using sustainable cotton. Balancing a 9-5 job while running this business is part of my daily reality. You might see messy work tables in our photos because that’s the reality of creating something real.
