Cricket Training Success Stories & Player Growth
Hear directly from our players about their journey at Macho Cricket Academy—from technical adjustments on Mumbai’s turning tracks to finding the right match temperament.
Gur Simrat Singh from the UK's Warwickshire County Cricket Club shares his experience training with us. He talks about adapting to Indian conditions, our spot bowling drills, and the impact of our coaching.
Shubham Yadav, a right-arm fast bowler, talks about his two years at the academy. He highlights the quality of facilities, the new balls for practice, and the challenge of bowling to good batsmen, which has improved his skills.
About Student Voices: Stories of Growth
These stories are not just about winning medals; they are about the reality of daily training at Cross Maidan. Whether it is a player from the UK learning to adapt to our turning tracks or a local fast bowler mastering his accuracy with daily new ball practice, you are getting an honest look at what it takes to train here. It is about the adjustments you make when the pressure is real and the nets are on.
Our academy is not for those looking for quick fixes. As you can see from our students, the growth comes from facing the grind—3 hours of high-volume practice, 5 days a week. We focus heavily on match simulation to bridge the gap between net practice and the real game.
When our students talk about the quality of facilities, they mean the daily new ball usage, the sidearm specialists who can simulate speeds over 140kmph, and the brutal yet necessary fitness drills at Juhu Beach. We train in both outdoor conditions at Cross Maidan and indoor turf facilities at Kurla to ensure no weather, or pitch variation, catches you off guard.
The testimonials you see here highlight the core of our program: the mental toughness taught by Naushad Khan sir and the technical precision provided by our team. If you are a serious student in the U-14 to U-19 bracket, you will find that our players are more than just students—they are athletes learning to handle the ups and downs of the game. Cricket is a game of adjustment, and this is where you learn how to make them.
