Every musician deserves a stage. Our Performance Labs are intimate, low-pressure recitals held right here in Safdarjung, designed to help you or your child build confidence in the spotlight.

About Performance Labs: Your First Spotlight
Think of these labs as a musical living room. We keep the audience small, usually around 30 people, so it feels more like jamming with friends than a high-pressure formal concert. You will have two dedicated prep sessions beforehand to get comfortable with the mic, the stage, and the setup, plus a quick verbal review from our faculty immediately after you finish.
The jump from the practice room to the stage can be intimidating. That is why we created the Performance Lab series. These sessions bridge the gap, offering a safe environment where students of all ages—from our 'Little Fingers' piano students to adult guitarists—can test their progress without judgment.
How it works
We host these in-house, utilizing our ground-floor performance area in Safdarjung Enclave. Because the space is intimate, you are surrounded by supportive parents, fellow students, and our faculty. This familiarity helps strip away the anxiety that often comes with larger, public venues.
Preparation and growth
We do not just throw you on stage. Your participation includes two in-class preparation sessions where we focus on stage etiquette, piece memorization, and simple techniques like bowing. On the day, you get a 10-minute sound check on our house equipment, including Yamaha digital pianos and our drum kit.
The takeaway
After your set, our senior faculty provides immediate verbal feedback. It is practical, honest, and meant to help you improve. Plus, we provide an unedited raw video clip of your performance. It is a great way to watch yourself, see what worked, and figure out what you want to refine for the next one. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps or an experienced student polishing a piece, these labs are where you find your rhythm.
