First impressions matter. Whether it is a sunny garden pathway or a grand reception entrance, I design these transitions to tell your story from the very first step.

About Event Highlights & Pathways

When I design a pathway, I am thinking about the transition. It is not just about pretty flowers. It is about how the space feels as you move from the busy outside world into the private emotion of your celebration. Whether we use sunflower-lined walks for a Haldi or dramatic, soft lighting for an evening engagement, the goal is to shift your guests’ mood before they even reach the main stage.

At LumosbySonia, we treat the entrance as the opening chapter of your event. If your guests are walking into a Haldi, we might use bright marigolds and rustic wooden screens to establish a cheerful, earthy tone. For evening receptions, we lean into lighting, candles, and soft floral runners to guide guests through a more intimate, sophisticated transition. In Bangalore, we often work with diverse venues, from open-air rooftops to indoor halls. We adapt our styling to match the architecture. For example, in a rooftop space, we might use lighter structures and breezy fabrics, whereas in a traditional hall, we focus on formal floral arrangements to define the aisle or path. Beyond the aesthetics, these areas serve a functional purpose. They act as a buffer. By placing personalized signage or interactive elements like themed bars or welcome boards, we encourage guests to pause, take a breath, and get ready for the ceremony ahead. It is about flow. We ensure the layout guides the crowd naturally without feeling forced, keeping the energy consistent from the moment they step out of their cars until they reach the heart of the event. We avoid clutter, focusing instead on defining lines that lead the eye exactly where it needs to go.
