About Elegant Bridal & Groom Portraits
Most wedding portraits feel like a checklist. I do it differently. I use dramatic lighting, natural framing, or even your wedding venue's unique corners to make your portraits look like scenes from a movie, not stock photos. It takes ten minutes, not an hour, because I want you back on the dance floor where the real fun is.
Portrait time does not have to be a chore where you stand awkwardly for an hour. My goal is to capture your personality, not just your jewelry or outfit.
The 'Art' Approach
Whether it is a quiet bridal moment in a red veil or a groom’s silhouette against a sunset, I focus on the light and the story. You will see me using elements like reflections, foliage, or architectural framing to add depth to your pictures. It creates a mood that feels cinematic and timeless.
No Stiff Posing
I do not believe in 'turn left, chin down' instructions. Instead, I might ask you to look at your partner, think of a private joke, or simply take a deep breath. When you are comfortable, the magic happens naturally. I want to catch the laugh, not the camera angle.
Getting the Best Shot
These portraits work best when we carve out a quiet 10-15 minute window during the event, usually during the golden hour or when the reception lights dim. We do not need a studio. Your venue’s corridor, a garden corner, or even a dimly lit room is all I need to create something striking. If you want portraits that show the real you, let's talk.
