Raw and Real Candid Wedding Moments
I believe in capturing stories, not just poses. Here are the moments where the laughter was loud, the emotions were unscripted, and the joy was completely real.
A candid moment of joy as the couple is showered with rose petals by their friends and family. This is the kind of spontaneous happiness we love to capture.
The look of pure delight on the bride's face during the Varmala ceremony. We focus on capturing these fleeting expressions that tell a story of love and happiness.
A stolen glance between the bride and groom during the ceremony. These quiet, intimate moments are just as important as the grand celebrations.
A shared laugh between the couple during a quiet moment away from the crowd. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves, allowing us to capture your true connection.
A playful and joyous moment during a South Indian wedding ritual. We capture the fun and laughter that are an essential part of these beautiful traditions.
The pure joy of a bride during the Talambralu ritual in a South Indian wedding. This award-winning black and white photo freezes a moment of absolute happiness.
An emotional moment during the wedding ceremony. We discreetly capture these powerful, heartfelt interactions that you will cherish for a lifetime.
A beautiful family portrait from a cross-cultural wedding, showcasing the blend of two families. We make sure to capture not just the couple, but the joining of their loved ones.
A family portrait from a two-country wedding, filled with smiles and traditional attire. Capturing the collective joy of the families is a key part of our storytelling.
A heartwarming moment between the bride and her furry friend. We understand that pets are family too, and we love capturing these special bonds.
About Candid Moments & Raw Emotions
When I shoot candidly, I am not standing in a corner with a telephoto lens waiting for something to happen. I am moving constantly, looking for that specific interaction between two people—a glance, a tear, or a quiet laugh—that feels true. You will never hear me asking you to 'smile at the camera' or hold a pose. If you see me getting close, it is because I am trying to capture the energy in the room, not just the people in it.
My approach to candid photography is grounded in the belief that the best wedding photos are the ones you didn't know were being taken. This is why I focus on the 'in-between' moments: the shared secret during a ritual, the nervous energy before the Varmala, or the pure chaos of a dance floor.
I rely on a mix of Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras and fast lenses to capture these moments in low light without needing harsh flashes that kill the mood. Whether I am shooting a traditional South Indian wedding in Bangalore or a modern ceremony in Hyderabad, my goal remains the same: to tell a story that feels authentic to your relationship.
I have been fortunate to have this specific style recognized by Fearless Photographers, but for me, the real reward is when a couple looks at their gallery and says 'Chennagi bandide'—that it has come out well. If you are looking for a photographer who acts like a guest with a camera rather than a director on a set, let's talk about your day.
