The Unscripted Wedding Moments
Your wedding is not a performance. It is a series of real, honest feelings. I stay in the background to capture the laughs, the tears, and the quiet glances you would otherwise miss.
The Vidaai, or farewell ceremony, is always one of the most emotional parts of a wedding. I capture these bittersweet tears with sensitivity and respect.
A powerful black and white collage of the emotional moments during the Vidaai, showing the bond between a bride and her parents.
A collage of award-winning candid moments, from the playful fun of a ceremony to the quiet joy at a reception.
A collage of pure fun and romance, from a pre-wedding shoot in a field to lying in a bed of roses.
A collage showing the bride in a moment of prayer and the groom's solemn procession with his father.
A collage of radiant smiles, capturing the bride's happiness and candid interactions with her friends.
About The Unscripted Moments
You might worry that cameras will make you feel stiff, but that is exactly what I avoid. I move around your venue as a guest would, keeping my gear discreet. This allows me to wait for those split-second interactions, like a secret smile between you and your partner, without interrupting the flow of your day.
Candid photography is about patience. Whether I am shooting a Nischithartha in Bangalore or a destination wedding, my goal is to blend in. I do not set up scenes or ask you to hold a smile. Instead, I observe. I look for the way your parents hold hands during the ceremony or the way you laugh when things go slightly off-plan.
My Approach to Your Day
- Preparation: We discuss the event flow beforehand, but on the day, I work independently.
- Perspective: I look for the candid angles that capture the joy, not just the ritual.
- Lighting: I use natural light whenever possible to keep the mood soft and genuine.
When you look back at these photos in ten years, I want you to remember exactly how you felt, not just what you wore. Many couples tell me they felt nervous about the camera, but within an hour, they stopped noticing me. This is the biggest compliment I can receive. Whether we are at a luxury hotel in Indiranagar or a traditional home ceremony in Mangalore, the focus remains entirely on your connection. My style is a mix of high-energy captures during celebrations and quiet, respectful observation during emotional rituals like the Vidaai.
