Hands-On Festival Workshops for Children
We bring festivals to life through messy, joyful, and meaningful activities at our Kothanur and Thanisandra campuses.
At our Kothanur campus, creativity and tradition came together during our eco-friendly Ganesha idol making workshop. Children learned about sustainability and culture as they molded their own idols with joy and pride.
Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with a green touch. Our workshop focuses on using natural, eco-friendly clay, teaching children the importance of celebrating traditions responsibly while having fun getting their hands dirty.
The spirit of freedom was in the air at our Thanisandra campus for Independence Day. Children celebrated with patriotic songs, dances, and simple tricolor crafts that they made themselves, learning about national pride through joyful activities.
At our Kothanur campus, little hands worked together to create a beautiful tricolor flag collage for Independence Day. This collaborative craft activity was a wonderful way for them to learn about teamwork and the symbolism of our national colors.
Happy 78th Independence Day! We believe in passing on the legacy of our great nation to the next generation through celebrations that are full of pride, unity, and joy.
Our Independence Day celebrations are filled with color, creativity, and happy faces. Children dress up and participate in activities that instill a sense of patriotism and community from a young age.
We celebrated a Green Diwali, filled with light, love, and eco-friendly crafts. Our children learned about the festival of lights by creating their own paper diyas and decorations, embracing the spirit of celebration without noise or pollution.
Christmas at our Kothanur campus was a magical affair with carols, crafts, and festive cheer. The children danced, sang, and celebrated the spirit of giving and togetherness in their bright red outfits.
The holiday season at our Thanisandra campus was full of joy and laughter. Our Christmas celebration included music, dancing, and plenty of festive fun, creating wonderful memories for our little ones.
The stage was all set for our Christmas celebration. Our spaces were decorated with handmade Santas, snowmen, and reindeer, creating a festive wonderland for the children to enjoy.
About Festival Fun & Cultural Celebrations
When we host our festival workshops, we focus on the experience, not the end result. Whether it is molding a Ganesha idol or creating festive decorations, we encourage the mess and the process, so your child learns the 'why' behind the celebration rather than just copying a step-by-step craft.
We believe that festivals are more than just holidays; they are opportunities for children to connect with culture in a way that makes sense to them. In our Kothanur and Thanisandra studios, we strip away the instruction manuals. We do not aim for perfect, showroom-ready crafts. Instead, we provide materials like eco-friendly river clay, natural colors, and loose parts, then let the kids take the lead.
When we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, we aren't just making idols; we are teaching sustainability by using biodegradable clay. When Independence Day arrives, it is not just about flags; it is about collaborative collages that teach teamwork and the meaning behind our national colors.
Our workshops are capped at 15 children to ensure our teachers have the time to guide each child's curiosity. We want your child to come home a little braver, a little messier, and much more confident in their ability to create and express themselves. It is about building a foundation of cultural pride through genuine, hands-on exploration.
Little Red Hen
We started Little Red Hen back in 2014, a bunch of us women with big dreams and even bigger hearts. We wanted a place where kids feel at home, not just students ticking boxes, which is exactly the energy we bring into our festival workshops.
