I started Little Bear because I was tired of finding stiff, itchy clothes that looked great in photos but felt terrible on skin. That is why I stick to 100% breathable cotton fabrics like poplin and cambric for all our dresses and jumpsuits. These materials are lightweight, making them perfect for our humid Mumbai weather, as they keep your child cool even when they are running around in the sun.

The Anti-Fit Difference

My definition of a good fit isn't about looking sharp; it is about looking happy. Our 'anti-fit' designs are crafted to accommodate diapers for toddlers and provide plenty of room for growth spurts. You will find that these outfits last through about 3 to 6 months of growth, which means you aren't constantly replacing clothes every few weeks.

Thoughtful Details That Matter

• Closure-Free Dressing: You will notice a distinct lack of zippers. I use shoulder buttons, ties, or step-in elastic necklines because I know how much of a struggle it can be to wrestle a wiggly child into a dress.
• Play-Ready Features: For our jumpsuits, I include thoughtful details like pockets and frill sleeves that stay put. The skirts and frocks have extra flare, ensuring they are perfect for those high-energy afternoons at the park.
• Easy Care: All our pieces are designed for high-frequency washing. They don't require special handling and are actually easier to iron than synthetic party wear.
