Hands-on STEM Camps and Workshops for Kids
We believe learning happens best when kids pick up real tools. Join our weekend workshops or holiday camps in North Bangalore to build, break, and fix your way through STEM.
Here is the flyer for our Innovators Summer Camp. We offer a range of modules including aeromodeling, robotics, and woodworking for kids aged 5 to 14.
Our summer camp flyer details the exciting courses we offer. We also build and set up "Makery" spaces in schools like this one at Ekya Nava.
We were thrilled to conduct a kids' innovators workshop for Aptiv's 25th year celebrations. The children built sail cars and had a fantastic time.
A glimpse into the fun and learning from our June summer camp. This video shows kids engaged in woodworking, model making, and other STEM activities.
A quiet moment of focus in the workshop. An instructor works with a small group of students at the main building table.
A group of students sits in a circle on the floor, engaged in a hands-on activity. This is how we kick off many of our project sessions.
The workshop is buzzing as kids work on various complex models. This is a typical scene during one of our school camp programs.
About this collection
Here, your child does not just watch a video on how a machine works—they actually measure, cut, and assemble one using real wood and proper tools. We keep our batches small (6–12 kids) so that every child gets individual guidance while using our jigsaws, drills, and hammers. It is about letting them take their finished, working model home and feeling the rush of having built it entirely on their own.
Our Approach to STEM
At Little Wings, we do not believe in boring classrooms. Whether it is a weekend DIY engineering workshop or our intensive summer camps, the goal remains the same: learning by doing. We provide a safe, supervised environment in our North Bangalore lab where kids move from being passive consumers of technology to active creators.
What You Can Expect
- Real Tools, Real Safety: We treat safety like a parent would. Every child is provided with safety goggles and gloves, and our instructors are always there to guide them through the use of hand tools like saws, drills, and clamps.
- Project-Based Learning: Instead of theoretical concepts, we focus on projects like aeromodeling gliders, hydraulic arms, or stomp rockets. Kids learn how levers, fulcrums, and gears actually function in the real world.
- Small Batches: We cap our groups at 12 students. This ensures that every child gets the attention they need, especially when using power tools or soldering equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do kids need prior experience? Not at all. We have different modules designed for beginners and intermediate learners. Our instructors guide them step-by-step.
What if my child is shy? We see it all the time. After one or two sessions of 'jugaad' (clever fixes) and building, even the quietest kids start showing off their projects to the group. The sense of accomplishment is a huge confidence booster.
Can I book for a group? Yes, we frequently partner with schools and host special sessions. Reach out, and we can coordinate a workshop that fits your schedule.
Little Wings Innovation Labs
Hi, I'm Rahul. My team and I built Little Wings because I was that kid who wanted to take apart every remote control just to see how it ticked. We've created a maker space where your child gets to be the engineer, the creator, and the builder.
