Tech Lab: Creative Coding & Robotics Classes for Kids

Our tech lab isn't about staring at screens. We use building blocks, gears, and visual coding to teach kids how to turn logic into physical motion. Whether it is building a windmill that actually spins or a car they can program to follow a line, we focus on hands-on mechanics and debugging, because the oops moments are where the real learning happens.

We believe technology is just another medium for expression, much like paint or clay. Our sessions are designed to take the intimidation out of STEM and replace it with curiosity.

How We Teach Tech

We start with block-based visual coding, such as Scratch or Blockly. This helps kids grasp programming concepts like loops, sequences, and logic without getting stuck in complex syntax. Once they get the code right, they see it reflected in the physical world—a robot that moves, a motor that turns, or a light that blinks.

What They Will Learn

• Mechanics: Understanding gears, axles, and structural integrity using construction sets.
