My Handmade Resin Art Process
Every piece here starts as liquid and turns into a keepsake. Watch how I mix, pour, and craft these custom gifts right in my studio.
Here’s a little behind the scenes look at my process. This video shows me pouring glittery blue resin into a mold and then demolding the finished piece to reveal a beautiful snowflake-themed storage box. This is how each unique item is carefully crafted by hand.
This video shows the creation of a sea-themed baby announcement frame, from preparing the real beach sand and shells to the final piece. It’s a wonderful way to display your baby's first photos and remember their birth details.
About My Handmade Process
Good resin art takes patience because I pour in layers to achieve that 3D depth you see in my work. Each layer needs to cure completely, which is why I ask for about 10–14 days to craft your piece—it ensures a crystal-clear, durable finish that won't yellow over time.
When you order a custom piece, it is not just a product coming off a machine; it is a process. First, we finalize the theme—whether it is a serene 'Ocean Breeze' for a baby frame or a luxe marble finish for a nameplate. Then, I get to the actual pouring.
Working with epoxy resin is delicate. I pour in multiple layers, which creates that beautiful 3D depth where photos, dried flowers, or gold flakes appear to float. Between each layer, there is a curing time where the resin hardens. This is crucial because it prevents yellowing and keeps the finish glass-like. If you see a tiny bubble or variation, know that is the mark of a truly handmade item—not a factory flaw.
Once the piece is fully cured, I sand the edges for a smooth, safe finish and add any final touches like vinyl lettering for names or dates. Whether you are getting a pooja thali for a festival or a special anniversary frame, my goal is to make sure you get something that feels as personal to you as it does to me when I am making it.
