I reinterpret Indian aesthetics for a contemporary audience, blending traditional garments with bold, conceptual lighting and art direction. My work focuses on creating visual stories that feel grounded, authentic, and cinematic.

My approach to modern desi narratives is rooted in the contrast between traditional elements and contemporary presentation. Whether I am shooting a bridal campaign in an old haveli or a fashion editorial in a studio setting, the goal is to make the image feel lived-in and real.
The Creative Process
Photography is a shared creation. I rely on a close collaboration with the creative team to pull together the right props—vintage telephones, natural leaves, or raw textures—to tell a specific story. We work with:
- Lighting Control: Using artistic color gels or golden hour natural light to set the mood.
- Styling Focus: Highlighting the drape of a saree, the intricate details of Polki jewelry, or the boldness of a modern lehenga.
- Composition: Creating space for the narrative, often using negative space to draw the viewer into a moment of calm or contemplation.
