About this collection
I create all these clean, modern shapes using my signature less-sweet buttercream instead of heavy fondant. This means you get crisp, sharp edges and intricate piped designs without that sugar overload, letting the actual flavour of the sponge, like Lemon Blueberry or Ferrero Crunch, really pop.
Why Less is More
Sometimes, you do not need tiers of fondant to make a statement. My minimalist collection focuses on bold, intentional design choices. From the sharp angles of my cube cakes to the playful, 2D aesthetic of comic cakes, the goal is to make the design look like it jumped right off the page or screen. Because I rely on buttercream rather than fondant, the finish is lighter, creamier, and much easier to eat.

When you approach me with a modern or minimalist concept, we start with the core of the cake. Do you want a Korean-style aesthetic with subtle, soft colours? Or are you looking for that high-contrast, bold-outline comic style? I love experimenting with these forms. If you have a specific sketch or a vibe you have seen online, send it over. I treat every custom cake as a collaboration, figuring out which textures and piping styles will bring your vision to life without cluttering the design.
Practical Details
Because of the precision required for these specific shapes, like the cube cakes, I have perfected a structure that holds its shape beautifully while staying moist inside.
- Buttercream Art: Every detail, from the minimalist hearts to the hand-piped character designs, is done with my signature less-sweet buttercream.
- Eggless Options: Almost all my custom designs are available eggless by default.
- Planning: Since these designs are intricate and handcrafted, I recommend booking your slot at least 3 to 4 days in advance. This gives me the time to get the design details just right for your celebration.
