Specialized Goalkeeper Training in Mumbai
The keeper's position is the most crucial on the field. At Lemon Break, we train you to own your area with technical precision and unwavering confidence.
We have dedicated experts for every position. Our specialized goalkeeper coach, Atif Ansari, demonstrates quickness and air diving techniques that we instill in our keepers from a young age.
Our goalkeeper coach Atif demonstrates how to handle both an aerial ball and a quick grounder. This drill builds the reflexes needed to react to any type of shot.
We start them young. Here, our coach works with an 8-year-old on the basic diving technique, ensuring he learns the correct and safe way to make a save from day one.
Coach Atif Ansari breaks down the most fundamental goalkeeping skill: how to dive safely. The correct technique, using your back and keeping the elbow up, is crucial for preventing injuries.
A strong grip is a goalkeeper's best friend. Coach Atif, a former TFA player, demonstrates basic gripping techniques that young keepers can practice to improve their handling and confidence.
Being a goalkeeper requires bravery and technique. This drill shows one of our keepers practicing their diving saves, learning to command their penalty area without fear.
About The Goalkeeper's Den
It is not just about making the save; it is about making it safely. Our goalkeeper coach, Atif Ansari, focuses on the mechanics of diving—specifically how to land using the back and keeping elbows up to prevent injury—before we ever move on to shot-stopping speed. You learn the craft from day one, not just the highlights.
Being a goalkeeper is the toughest job on the pitch. One error and the ball is in the net. That is why we treat goalkeeping as a specialized discipline, separate from general football coaching. We focus on the three pillars of a great keeper: technique, reaction, and communication.
The Mechanics of the Save
We start with the basics. Whether it is handling an aerial ball or a quick grounder, every motion must be controlled. Coach Atif Ansari, a former Tata Football Academy player with elite Mumbai division experience, personally drills players on proper falling techniques. If you do not know how to fall, you get injured. If you are injured, you are not playing.
Mental & Physical Edge
Training in our centers—Bandra, Andheri, or Mahim—means you get more than just drills. We use whiteboard sessions to improve game IQ, teaching keepers how to organize their defense and when to commit off the line. It is about reading the game before the striker even shoots.
Join Our Net Guardians
