About Behind the Scenes & Community
We believe in looking after our players, not just on match days, but every day. That is why you will find on-ground sports therapists at our sessions providing fascial release to ensure our kids recover safely. Beyond the drills, we are deeply committed to the neighborhoods we serve, like our outreach project in Madanpura where we provide equipment and coaching to local talent who have the game in their blood but lack resources.
Football is a life teacher, and at Lemon Break Sports, we aim to teach the whole player. While our primary focus is technical training and competitive play, our academy functions as a second home.
Building Through Community
Our approach extends beyond the AstroTurf. We are proud to partner with local institutions, like our project in the historic Madanpura neighborhood. Known locally as 'Mini-Brazil', this area is a hub of raw footballing talent. By collaborating with grassroots figures like Sarfaraz Ansari and securing support from foundations like Chandra Mohan Foundation, we ensure talented kids have access to kits, balls, and expert coaching. It is about nurturing the passion that already exists in these streets.
Focusing on Player Well-being
Physical longevity is key to any serious player. We do not just run drills and leave. We integrate sports therapy directly into our sessions. Our on-ground therapists work on muscle recovery and fascial release to prevent injuries before they happen. Whether it is a player recovering from a 1v1 tackle or just managing the fatigue of a long season, our medical support team is there.
Inclusive Spirit
Whether it is celebrating New Year together, running Christmas-themed training sessions, or rallying during the World Cup, we keep the spirit of the game alive. Football creates a unique bond, and we work hard to keep that energy high. We welcome everyone—girls, boys, kids, and even veterans—into the family. Because on our pitch, age does not matter. Hard work and a love for the game are the only requirements to join our movement.
Lemon Break Sports
We are Rajshekhar and the Lemon Break team, dedicated to changing the grassroots football landscape in Mumbai. We built this academy because we wanted the opportunities we missed, and now we run it like a family. Every session, every recovery tip, and every community project is fueled by our shared obsession with the beautiful game.
