For 85% of our U15 squad, the Thane Youth League was their first experience playing 11v11 football. It is a significant jump from regular training sessions, requiring players to adapt to larger pitch dimensions and complex tactical positioning under competitive match pressure.

The Thane Youth League (TYL) serves as the primary competitive testing ground for our academy members. We prioritize this league not just for the trophies, but because it exposes our players to consistent 11v11 match play, which is essential for understanding spatial awareness, stamina, and team structure.

Participation in the TYL is a key part of our development pathway. Our squads in the U13 and U15 categories face diverse opposition from across the region, which forces them to adapt their game in real-time. Coaching & Tactical Support

During these fixtures, our AIFF and AFC certified coaches manage on-site tactical adjustments and substitution strategies. This ensures that every player, regardless of their position—from goalkeeper to striker—understands their specific role within the team's formation. We track performance data throughout the season, focusing on individual improvement rather than just the final scoreboard.
