Professional Dance Competition Judge in Bangalore
From Seshadripuram to St. Joseph’s, I’ve sat on the panel at Bangalore’s biggest fests. Here is a look at my judging style and the energy I bring to the stage.
This is me in my element, focused on the performance and taking detailed notes. As a judge, I believe in a structured evaluation, ensuring every ounce of effort from the performers is seen and scored fairly 💫
Celebrating with the winning team at a Nitte college competition. Moments like these, surrounded by talented and passionate dancers, are the ultimate reward for me as a choreographer and judge 💫
On stage at St. Joseph’s University College, being felicitated during a Kannada cultural event. It's an honor to be recognized and to participate in events that celebrate our local talent and heritage in Namma Bengaluru 💫
A clear view from the judge's panel at Seshadripuram Degree College. I'm here to spot more than just steps; I'm looking for originality, artistry, and the unique style each team brings to the floor 💫
As a performer myself, I understand the dedication it takes to command a stage. This artistic shot captures the motion and magic I look for in every dancer I evaluate 💫
Arriving to judge an event at MS Ramaiah Institute of Management. I believe stage presence starts the moment you walk in, and I bring that same energy whether I'm performing or judging 💫
A portrait that captures my personality. My approach to judging is confident and direct, but always rooted in a deep respect for the art of dance 💫
About Featured
I don't just count steps on a scorecard. When I’m judging, I’m watching for stage presence and that raw, unfiltered passion that makes a performance stick. Whether it’s a college fest or a dance battle, I focus on giving every team honest, structured feedback so they actually walk away better than they started.
Why I judge the way I do
It’s not just about who hits the cleanest steps. I look for the spark—that mix of technique, creativity, and stage presence that separates a routine from a performance. When I’m on the panel, I’m not there to guess. I use a structured scoring system that covers rhythm, expressions, and formations to ensure every participant gets a fair assessment.
My judging experience in Namma Bengaluru
I’ve been fortunate enough to judge at institutions like Seshadripuram, St. Joseph’s, MS Ramaiah, and Nitte. These events are where I see the true pulse of Bangalore’s youth dance culture. Whether it’s an intra-college event or a high-stakes district battle, I bring the same focus:
- Standard Judging (Half-Day): Perfect for school annual days or college freshers, covering basic score tabulation and top 3 selection.
- Premium Head Judge (Full-Day): For bigger fests, I provide in-depth technical critiques, crowd work, and even a judge’s showcase performance if the energy calls for it.
I value authenticity over perfection. If you want a judge who understands both the technicalities of choreography and the raw energy of a live stage, let’s talk. I make sure my feedback helps the dancers grow rather than just ranking them. 💫
