These sessions include partners and siblings, prioritizing natural interaction over rigid posing. Whether we use the Gurgaon studio or an outdoor location, I direct the shoot to ensure everyone remains comfortable, resulting in authentic images of your growing family.
Including family members in your maternity photoshoot changes the dynamic from a solo portrait to a documentary of this chapter in your lives. I approach these sessions with the same focus on comfort and safety as my newborn work, ensuring that partners and older children feel at ease in front of the lens.
My Approach to Family Portraits
My sessions are designed to be straightforward. We avoid overly complex posing that feels unnatural. Instead, I guide you through simple interactions—holding the baby bump, walking together outdoors, or sitting comfortably in the studio—that naturally elicit genuine smiles and connections. This applies whether we are in my studio in Sushant Lok Phase 1 or at an outdoor location in Delhi-NCR during the golden hour.
Studio vs. Outdoor Sessions
- Studio: We have full control over lighting and temperature. My studio is equipped with props, maternity gowns, and seating, which is convenient for families with younger children or those who prefer a controlled, clean aesthetic with minimalist backdrops.
- Outdoor: I shoot in parks and gardens across the NCR region, typically scheduled near sunset to utilize soft, natural light. These sessions allow for more movement and a wider, scenic background, which works well for families who want a relaxed, lifestyle feel.
Planning Your Session
Coordination is key for family portraits. I recommend selecting outfits that are comfortable and coordinated without being overly matchy. While hair and makeup services are not included, I provide guidance on gown choices and wardrobe styles before the shoot date. My goal is to deliver high-quality, fine-art images that you can display in your home.
