About Celebrating Family
Including your partner and older children in a maternity shoot shouldn't feel like a forced chore. I prioritize a relaxed pace because I know how kids can be; we focus on playing and interacting rather than rigid posing, ensuring that your final photos capture the authentic, messy, and wonderful chaos of your growing family.
When you are expecting a new addition, the dynamics of your family change in the best possible way. My job is to capture the 'kahani' (story) of this transition.
Why include the whole family?
Whether you are going from three to four or welcoming your first, involving your partner and older children brings an energy to the photos that cannot be staged. I see how older siblings take pride in their new role, or how partners share those quiet, supportive looks that often go unnoticed in the rush of daily life.
How I work
My Dwarka studio is set up as a playground for creativity, not a stiff office. If you choose an indoor session, we have space to let kids run around or play with props while we get the shot. For outdoor sessions, we head to parks where the golden hour light makes everything feel soft and natural. We don't rush. If the little one needs a snack or a break, we take it. My goal is for you to walk away with images that look like real, happy moments, not just portraits where everyone is staring at the camera.
Planning your session
Don't worry about outfits. Many parents stress about coordinating, but my best advice is to keep it simple—stick to comfortable, classic colors that let your family's bond be the focal point. We will discuss your theme beforehand, whether you want something regal, boho, or minimal, and I will handle the prop setup so you just need to arrive with your smiles.
