Art is simply my way of keeping a diary. Every coffee stain and pencil stroke here captures a moment of quiet focus and real-life memories.

A live sketch I did while scouting a cafe for a potential workshop. I love capturing the energy of a space in my sketchbook.

A quiet moment of sketching at night. For me, art is a way to disconnect from the noise and just be present.

A photo of me sketching inside a beautiful old building. I find inspiration everywhere, from grand architecture to small details.

My typical setup for a day of outdoor sketching. Just my art kit, a coffee, and a good view.

A quick reel showing the different kinds of art I make, from wall murals to sketchbook drawings.

A flip-through of my summer sketchbook. It's filled with cafe sketches, doodles, and coffee paintings.

A recent graphite sketch of the musician Hozier. I love doing portraits in my spare time.

A live sketch from Cafe Journal. Capturing the baristas at work is always a fun challenge.

The full spread of my Cafe Journal sketch. I love filling my sketchbook with memories of places I've been.

A page of random doodles and ideas from my sketchbook. This is where many of my bigger projects begin.

About My Artist Sketchbook & Personal Work

My sketchbook is where I test every technique, from hyper-realistic eye shading to messy, spontaneous coffee washes. These pages are the blueprints for my workshops and the foundation of the custom portraits I create for you guys. If you see a style here that you connect with, I can bring that same energy to your own custom commission.

I believe that anyone can draw, but I also know that art is a process. This cluster showcases what I do when I am not teaching. You will find pages from my cafe hopping sessions in Mumbai, my experiments with mural painting on my home walls, and the slow, technical work that goes into my hyper-realistic graphite portraits.

My Art Process

My work typically evolves from these raw sketchbook pages. When I am doing urban sketching, I focus on capturing the energy of the space and the people in it. Coffee painting is a huge part of this; I love using it for its warm, sepia tones, which bring a unique life to illustrations. For more technical projects, like my eye sketches, I switch to charcoal and graphite, focusing on light and shadow until the drawing feels right.

Custom Commissions

Because art should live with people and not just sit in a folder, I accept custom orders. Whether you want a portrait based on a favorite photograph, a custom-painted denim jacket, or a memory collage, I can work with you to make it happen. My goal is always to keep it authentic, just like the work you see here. If you have a specific idea or a project in mind, let's chat about how we can turn it into something real. You just bring the idea, and we will figure out the rest.
