Join me for a chill afternoon of sketching city scenes. No art experience is needed, just bring yourself and enjoy the process.

See how a simple line drawing of the Bandra Worli Sea Link transforms with a few washes of coffee paint.
The focus in the room is amazing. Here you can see participants deeply engaged in the inking and painting stages of their urban sketches.
A proud moment at the end of a workshop. Everyone holding up their finished coffee paintings, each with its own unique style.

Here I am, explaining a technique to the group. My workshops are very hands-on, and I'm always there to help you.
Sometimes art is about happy accidents! Here I'm helping a participant work with an accidental coffee spill to make it part of the artwork.
About Urban Sketching & Coffee Painting
You don't need to be an artist to join. We start with a light sketch of a local building or street scene, and then we use brewed coffee concentrate to paint it. It is a surprisingly forgiving medium that creates beautiful, warm, sepia tones, and it is perfectly okay if you make a mistake.
My workshops are designed for anyone who feels like they can't draw. Whether you are an absolute beginner or just looking for a way to disconnect from your screen for a few hours, you will fit right in. We host these sessions in various cafes across Mumbai and Thane, so you get to enjoy a fresh beverage while you work.
We provide everything you need including heavy-grain paper, brushes, graphite pencils, and the coffee concentrate. We spend about three hours working on a piece together, taking our time with the composition before moving on to the coffee painting phase. Coffee works beautifully because it is unpredictable and smells great, adding a nice sensory element to the creative process.
My workshops are not about achieving a masterpiece. They are about the silence, the shared laughter, and the simple satisfaction of creating something with your hands. Each session includes a food and beverage voucher, so you are set for the afternoon. If you ever feel stuck, I am right there to help with shading, perspective, or just getting the lines right. By the end of the day, you will walk out with your own artwork and hopefully a bit more peace of mind.
Kshitij
I'm Kshitij, and I really believe that anyone can draw if they give themselves the space to try. I host these workshops because I love that moment when a group of strangers gets comfortable enough to just sit, sketch, and laugh together. It is all about the process, not being perfect.
