The secret to that deep, rich colour isn't magic, it is all about the aftercare routine I swear by. Once the design dries, we use a gentle clove steam to speed up oxidation, and I guide you through keeping your hands away from water for the first few hours. This simple, patient step makes the biggest difference in how dark your stain eventually gets.
Getting the perfect stain is a journey. It starts long before I even touch your hand with the cone. I use my own freshly mixed, 100% organic henna paste made with essential oils like eucalyptus and cajeput. Because I don't use harsh chemicals to rush the colour, the result is a safer, more natural stain that develops deeper over 48 hours.
The Clove Steam Ritual
This is my go-to technique for brides and anyone wanting that extra pop of colour. By carefully steaming your hands over a pot with heated cloves, we encourage the henna to release its dye molecules faster. It feels like a spa treatment for your hands, and the results speak for themselves. You will see the transformation from a light orange to that deep, chocolatey brown we all love.
Aftercare: The Golden Rules
If you want the stain to last through your entire event and beyond, treat it with care:
- Keep it dry: Water is the enemy of a fresh stain. Avoid water contact for at least 12 hours. If you must wash your hands, keep it minimal.
