When I stand at my stall at Chitra Santhe, the best part is watching someone pause, look closely at the brushwork on a painting, and finally share what they feel. My art is not just about what is on the canvas. It is about the connection I build with the people who walk by, whether at Bangalore's Chitra Santhe or a local exhibition at the Indian Institute of World Culture.

These moments, like receiving the International Inspiration Artist Award from the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Foundation, remind me why I paint.
