Most artists teach you how to apply makeup, but I teach you why it works. Learn the science of skin types, ingredient safety, and color theory to master your own look or build a solid career.

Have you ever wondered why people from certain regions have healthier skin and hair? I break down the traditional secrets, like the use of coconut oil in coastal areas, and explain the science of hydration and how it protects the skin's moisture barrier.

Identifying a client's skin type is the first and most important step. In my classes, I do live demonstrations, bringing students forward to identify oily, dry, combination, sensitive, and mature skin in real time. This practical skill is fundamental for any makeup artist.

Mastering eye makeup is about understanding depth and dimension. Here, I demonstrate on a mannequin how to use a lighter shade on the outer crease to make the darker shade pop, creating a professional, well-blended look. We practice these basic techniques until they become second nature.

About The 'Why' Behind the 'How': My Teaching Method

In my workshops, we start by looking at skin, not products. I teach you to identify oily, dry, combination, sensitive, and mature skin types through live observation. When you understand why a client's skin reacts a certain way to makeup, you stop guessing and start creating looks that actually last and feel healthy.
