Here’s a little behind-the-scenes of how I make a personalized macrame cloud wall hanging. It starts with preparing the MDF frame with gesso, then knotting the cloud, and finally adding the custom name and a pretty rainbow. This one was for a sweet girl named Gia.

Another one of my popular macrame lion wall hangings, this time for a little boy named Veer. These make such wonderful and personal gifts for baby showers or birthdays. Each one is handmade with care using eco-friendly cotton threads.

About this collection
When I craft these personalized cloud or lion hangings, I prep the MDF base with gesso and hand-knot every detail using soft, natural cotton cords. I make sure to apply a safe, non-toxic stiffening spray to every piece, so your custom name plate stays firm and beautiful on the wall, even if it gets a little nudge.
Making something for a child’s room is a special responsibility. I don't use plastic in my work—just quality, sustainable cotton cords and natural materials like MDF or wood.
