About Crochet Classes for All
You don't need to be a pro to get started. In my Ghatkopar studio or online, I keep things super chill because learning something new should never feel like a chore. Whether it is your first time holding a hook or you are looking for a fun weekend activity for your kid, we move at your pace. If you mess up a stitch, we just 'frog' it, laugh, and try again.
My Approach to Teaching
Crochet isn't just about making things; it is my go-to stress buster. I started out clueless, but now I want to help you feel that same calm and satisfaction. My workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly, covering everything from holding the hook to finishing your first granny square.
What We Cover
- Basics & Fundamentals: We start with the essentials—slip knots, chains, single crochet, and double crochet. You will learn grip tension and how to read basic patterns so you can continue creating long after the class ends.
- Small Batches: I keep my offline classes in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, to a maximum of 6 students. This ensures I can give everyone personal attention to fix grip issues or help with tricky stitches.
- Online Flexibility: Can't make it to my studio? My online crash courses are live (not pre-recorded), so I can watch your technique and help you correct mistakes in real-time.
Workshop Options
- Beginner Workshop (Offline): A 3.5 to 4-hour session where I provide everything—the yarn, the ergonomic hook, and a printed stitch guide. You walk out with your first completed project and the confidence to start your next one.
- Kids Creative Session: Specifically for ages 8 to 14. We focus on fun, quick projects like plushies or hair accessories using bright, thick yarn that is easier for small hands to handle.
- Live Online Crash Course: Perfect for those who want to learn from the comfort of their home. We split this into two weekend sessions so you have time to practice between lessons.
