Fun Gymnastics Classes for Kids in Mumbai & Thane
I focus on making movement joyful rather than competitive. These sessions help toddlers and preschoolers build strength, coordination, and confidence through tumbling, flexibility drills, and fun group games.
This is what it's all about. I love seeing my students build strength and confidence while having fun on our outdoor turf. We practice everything from basic handstands to cartwheels in a safe and encouraging space.
Our indoor classes are full of energy and smiles. Here, we focus on group activities, flexibility, and coordination games on soft, safe mats, making it perfect for my youngest students to start their gymnastics journey.
About Featured
In every batch, I use 15mm EVA foam mats for all floor work, ensuring safety while little ones practice forward rolls or bunny hops. We keep groups small, around 8 to 12 children, so I can provide personal support to every Beta during inversions and balance drills.
Why Gymnastics at My Studio
My background as a 4th Dan Taekwondo Black Belt is different from a typical gymnastics coach. I do not focus on competitive pressure or rigid perfection. My goal is for your child to learn how their body works. When a preschooler masters a forward roll or holds a wall-assisted handstand for the first time, that confidence carries over into everything else they do.
What We Actually Do
Classes are 45 to 60 minutes long, twice a week. We start with warm-up agility games like bear crawls and frog jumps. The core of the session focuses on:
- Tumbling: Basics like assisted cartwheel mechanics and log rolls.
- Flexibility: Seated pike and straddle stretches, plus prep for Chakrasana (bridge pose).
- Inversions: Building the courage to go upside down using the wall for support.
Safety and Setup
Safety comes first. We use 12-15mm interlocking EVA puzzle mats indoors. For dynamic movement, we move to the outdoor artificial turf area. I always have an assistant coach with me, so every child gets hands-on spotting.
Is This Right for Your Child?
Whether your little one is a toddler just starting to explore or a kindergartner looking for more movement, they are welcome. We focus on listening skills, following directions, and having fun together. If you are not sure if your child is ready, book a trial session first. We assess comfort levels with manual spotting and basic moves before committing to a monthly plan.
