Psychedelic Handmade Accessories and Decor
Welcome to my corner of the world! I am Khyati, and I turn bold ideas into handmade, eco-friendly art. From psychedelic wooden bangles to quirky home decor, everything here is crafted with love and absolutely no plastic.
This is my signature Banjara Bangle, a wearable piece of art. I wrap a wooden square bangle in fabric printed with my original psychedelic artwork and finish it with hand-painted details on the rim.
Meet the Abacus Bangle! I love how the asymmetric wooden beads move around this hand-painted bangle. It's playful, quirky, and a guaranteed conversation starter.
My polymer clay earrings are super lightweight and perfect for adding a pop of color. I handcraft each floral piece and bake it to perfection, so it's both beautiful and durable.
I designed this jingly bangle especially for kids. It's a wooden base wrapped in bright satin ribbon, with tiny golden ghungroos and little haathi charms that make a happy sound with every movement.
A little peek into my busy home studio! Everything you see is 100% handmade by me. This is where I paint, stitch, and assemble every piece with a lot of love and care.
My AksharBandhan Rakhis make the festival of Raksha Bandhan extra personal. Each one is hand-painted on a wooden base with your brother's initial, surrounded by my signature colorful patterns.
Here's a glimpse of my stall at a recent exhibition. It's a true color riot, with a full display of my hand-painted bangles, quirky earrings, and other handmade accessories.
About this collection
If you are looking for mass-produced perfection, you will not find it here. Every piece I make starts with raw wood, fabric, or clay, and ends with hours of hand-stitching and painting in my home studio. Because I work in small batches and source unique trims, most of what you see here is one-of-a-kind.
My process is straightforward: no plastic, no shortcuts, just pure color. When I source materials, whether it is a roll of vibrant lace or a stash of wooden beads, I work with it until it is gone. This means that if you see a piece that speaks to you, it is likely the only one of its kind.
Why my art looks this way
I call my style 'psychedelic soul in a corporate world.' By day I manage IT systems, but by night, I let the colors take over. You will notice a lot of 'Banjara' influence in my work—lots of bright threads, ghungroos (bells), and bold, irregular patterns. I do not do beige. I do not do subtle. I create for people who want to stand out.
The Materials
You will never find plastic beads in my jewelry or decor. I rely on:
- Wood: For my statement bangles and base structures.
- Polymer Clay: For lightweight, hand-cut earrings.
- Metal & Glass: For those little details that catch the light.
- Fabric: Hand-painted and stitched to wrap my wooden bases.
Custom Work
Got a wild idea? I love custom projects. Whether you want a specific color palette for a toran or a unique initial painted on a Rakhi, just reach out. I am usually juggling a lot in my studio, but I am very active in my messages and would love to build something just for you.
Khyatiworks
I am Khyati—an IT manager by day and a creator by heart. My studio is my home, where I make bold, colorful art alongside my daughter and two dogs. If you are bored of mass-produced items and want something real, colorful, and completely unique, we will get along just fine.
