When I work with kids, the priority is always comfort. I use only gentle, moisturizing products, never heavy foundation, so they feel like themselves and can run around or dance freely. We focus on fun hairstyles—like floral braids or pretty buns—that stay put, even when they are excited at a birthday party or a long family wedding.
Every child is different. Some sit perfectly still, while others want to keep moving, and that is completely fine. My approach is simple: keep the makeup light, skin-safe, and age-appropriate, focusing on a bit of lip gloss, a touch of blush, and maybe a bindi if they like.
