Student Creative Projects and Vocational Skill Portfolio
See what our students are creating in our workshops, from avant-garde fashion pieces to traditional art and handmade accessories.
This dynamic ensemble, created by one of our students for a fashion show, highlights the high-fashion potential our courses unlock. We teach our students to translate bold ideas into wearable art, focusing on creative construction and unique embellishments.
We challenge our students to think beyond traditional fabrics. This stunning gown, meticulously crafted entirely from tissue paper, is a testament to the innovation and resourcefulness we encourage in our design workshops.
Our curriculum includes traditional art forms like Madhubani. This video shows a student's hand-painted fabric, demonstrating fine line work and a strong sense of color and composition applied to textile design.
We believe in sustainable creativity through upcycling. This video demonstrates how an old, discarded bag is transformed into a stylish new pouch with thoughtful embroidery and finishing, a core skill taught in our accessory design module.
This piece from our mixed media workshop shows how students learn to combine natural elements with illustration. Here, colorful leaf prints are used to create the texture and form of a dress, blending art with fashion design.
Our classes are practical and hands-on from day one. This video shows students in our workshop learning to create traditional latkans, mastering the techniques for crafting detailed and beautiful garment accessories.
The skills learned in our courses have direct, real-world applications. This elegant children's party frock, complete with handmade satin flowers, was designed and constructed by a student, showcasing their proficiency in garment making and decorative detailing.
About Featured
Everything you see in this gallery was made by our students during their practical sessions. We believe that learning happens by getting your hands dirty, whether you are constructing a gown from non-traditional materials like tissue paper or mastering the intricate embroidery stitches for a garment. Our goal is to ensure that by the time you complete your course, you have a professional portfolio and the confidence to run your own boutique or teach these skills to others.
At Khazani Women's Vocational Institute, we have spent nearly 20 years in Noida Bhangel helping women build independence through practical, skill-based education. Our philosophy is simple: we provide the tools and the guidance, and our students provide the passion.
From Sketch to Ramp We do not believe in keeping students confined to theory. Fashion students follow the full lifecycle of a design, starting with a sketch, moving to pattern making, and finishing with an outfit that hits the ramp at our annual fashion show. This prepares them for the real pressures and rewards of the industry.
Hands-on Creative Training Whether you join us for a 3-month hobby course or our 1-year Advanced Professional Diploma, the focus remains on tangible outcomes:
- Upcycling: We teach students how to turn household waste or old fabrics into high-value products, emphasizing sustainable creativity.
- Surface Ornamentation: Learn the fine details of mirror work, embroidery, and fabric painting to enhance any garment.
- Avant-Garde Construction: For our advanced students, we explore designs using non-textile materials like LED lights and paper, pushing the boundaries of what 'wearable art' means.
Who We Teach Our classrooms are collaborative spaces. We keep batch sizes small, usually 10-15 students, to ensure every learner gets direct feedback. Many of our students arrive with zero experience and leave with the technical skills to start their own businesses or secure teaching roles in play schools. If you want to build a career where your work is your resume, you are in the right place.
