A look at my favorite shots, from moody cocktail evenings to crisp menu spreads. Whether it is a levitation shot or a simple pour, I am always chasing that mix of light, shadow, and story.
A deconstructed gourmet burger, captured mid-air. This levitation shot is a perfect example of how I blend technical precision with creative imagination to make every ingredient the hero.
A complete South Indian breakfast spread, styled and shot for Double Tree by Hilton. This top-down flatlay captures the variety of the meal, from crispy dosas to savory sambar, perfect for a hotel menu.
A smoky citrus cocktail against a dark, moody background. I use techniques like smoke to add drama and atmosphere, creating an alluring image for a bar's specialty drink menu.
An action shot capturing the moment milk is poured into iced coffee. This dynamic style brings the beverage to life, creating a refreshing and engaging image for a cafe or social media.
A beautifully crafted wooden spice box, shot for a product brand. The focus here is on the rich colors and textures of the spices, creating an image that speaks to quality and authenticity.
A festive Christmas cake scene, complete with the action of powdered sugar being dusted on top. This shot combines warm, celebratory lighting with a dynamic element to create a truly magical mood.
A bright and airy flatlay of Indian chaat. This high-key photography style makes the colors pop, creating a fresh and inviting look that's perfect for blogs, social media, and modern menus.
About Featured
I balance two distinct styles: clean, high-visibility menu photography that helps customers decide what to order, and dark, moody editorial work for social media and campaigns. My goal is to capture the texture and emotion of your dish so it looks as good on a screen as it does on the table.
Photography for me is a technical exercise in lighting as much as it is a creative one. I work with clients across Delhi NCR, moving between restaurants, cafes, and studios to find the right environment for your product.
The Two Approaches
- Menu & Delivery Shoots: These focus on clarity. Whether you are on Zomato or printing a new menu, you need 45-degree angles and flat lays that show ingredients clearly. The lighting is bright and even, ensuring the food is the hero.
- Editorial & Hero Shots: This is where we play. I use dark, moody lighting, smoke, and props to build atmosphere. This style works best for cocktail menus, high-end food campaigns, or social media content where you want to stop the scroll.
Technical Expertise
I enjoy the challenge of high-speed photography. If you need a levitation shot of a burger or a splash of liquid caught in mid-air, I use multi-layer compositing and precise rigging to make it happen. I shoot, edit, and retouch, often managing the full process from the raw capture to the final pixel-perfect output.
How We Work
My turnaround is usually 3 to 5 business days for standard projects. Whether we are shooting a simple coffee pour or an elaborate festive cake spread, I keep the process collaborative. You bring the food, and I will bring the lights, props, and the setup to make it look real.
Kaushik Banerjee
I am Kaushik, and I split my time between analyzing data and chasing light with my camera. I love the technical challenge of a levitation shot just as much as capturing the warmth of a simple home-style meal.
