About Kudremukha Treks: The Green Ocean
Kudremukha is a demanding climb, and the weather here shifts in minutes. We handle all the heavy lifting for you, from securing your forest permits to arranging the shared jeep transfer from the homestay to the trek base. Just focus on your gear and your energy levels, and let our trip captains guide you safely through the mist.
The Kudremukha peak sits at 1892 meters and is easily one of the most stunning sights in the Western Ghats. We call it the Green Ocean because the rolling hills stretch out like waves as far as you can see. When you trek with us, you are not just walking up a hill. You are crossing streams, walking through patches of deep forest, and pushing through grass that can reach your waist.
Logistics and What to Expect
We handle the planning so you do not have to stress. Our packages include non-AC transport starting from Bangalore on Friday night, returning Sunday evening. We take care of your forest department entry fees and all necessary trekking permits. You will be staying in an adventure homestay or tents, dormitory style, with basic shared washroom facilities. Food is simple, vegetarian local cuisine like rice bath or idli to keep you fueled during the climb.

This is a group activity, which means we stick together. Whether it is a rainy day or a clear one, our certified trip captains are with you every step of the way. If you are coming solo, you will likely end up leaving with a whole new group of friends. We follow a strict leave-no-trace policy because we want these mountains to stay beautiful for a long time.
