From a simple request for a "Gabby's Dollhouse" theme to a complete birthday outfit. I sketched out the ideas, incorporating the signature stripes and colors, and created this adorable ruffled dress with matching cat ears.

About Fairytale & Character Themes
I know a fussy outfit can ruin a birthday, so I design with the party-to-play transition in mind. For example, my mermaid-themed costumes come with a detachable, tiered tulle trail. Your little one gets that grand, princess-like entrance for cake-cutting, then we unsnap the tail so they can actually run around and play without tripping.
Bringing a character to life isn't just about matching colors. It is about understanding what makes that story special to your child. Whether it is a Frozen-inspired ice gown or a custom Gabby’s Dollhouse dress, I focus on the details that matter—like the silhouette and the texture.
I start with your idea. You tell me the story, and I sketch out a design that balances the 'wow factor' with actual kid-proof comfort. My tulle gowns use soft cotton linings so there is never any itching, and I use gentle elastic waistbands so your little star stays comfortable for hours.
I do not believe in heavy, restrictive costumes. I use breathable fabrics like cotton blends and soft nets. If your little one wants to be a mermaid, I make sure the bodice is soft and the scales are not scratchy. If they want to be a superhero, I make sure the cape does not pull on the neck.
