Legal & On-Ground Support for Animal Feeders in Delhi NCR
Feeding community animals is a right, not a crime. When RWAs, security guards, or neighbors threaten your work, we stand as your backup with direct mediation and legal defense.
This video shows the moment of the brutal assault on the dog feeder couple in Paschim Vihar. The attacker, a lawyer, used his power to intimidate and harm them, but we were there to document it and fight back.
The aftermath of the Paschim Vihar attack. The feeder's husband was left with a serious eye injury. This is the violence we stand against, and we provide immediate help and legal aid for animal welfare cases in Delhi.
The injured woman from the Paschim Vihar assault, moments after being attacked. Her testimony is a powerful indictment of the harassment feeders face. We ensure their stories are heard and justice is pursued.
A security guard at an SBI branch in New Friends Colony is seen here aggressively confronting and threatening a feeder. We intervened, called the police, and documented the incident to protect the feeder's right to care for the animals.
Security guards at Palm Olympia, Greater Noida, are seen here harassing a resident and pet parent, illegally trying to restrict their entry. We provide support and legal guidance to residents facing such illegal RWA or security rules.
In Gaur City, Greater Noida, security guards created a false narrative of being assaulted by a pet parent who was handling three dogs. We expose these tactics and stand with pet parents who are unfairly targeted.
We identified and exposed a woman in Greater Noida who was filmed beating community dogs. By sharing evidence and details, we mobilize the community and authorities to take action against animal abuse.
About this collection
If you are a feeder or pet parent being harassed by your society guards or RWA, you are not alone. We provide immediate intervention to handle conflict. Whether it is an RWA blocking your entry, threats to file false police complaints, or attempts to stop feeding, we handle the mediation and legal documentation to make sure your feeding spot remains protected.
We know the struggle. You spend your own money, time, and energy to feed the street kids, and in return, you get threats, broken food bowls, and hostile neighbors. Our approach is direct because polite requests often fail. We step in where the system fails you.
What We Handle
We provide legal and on-ground protection for feeders across Delhi-NCR. We draft legal notices citing the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (PCA) 1960 and Supreme Court directives to warn RWAs that restricting feeding is illegal. If guards or residents resort to intimidation, we provide physical representation at the site and help you file 'Daily Diary' (DD) entries at the local police station to document harassment.
Why We Do It
'Yeh awaara nahi, hamara hai' (They are not strays, they are ours). Every community dog deserves to eat, and every person who feeds them deserves respect. We have seen feeders being physically assaulted and falsely accused of creating a menace. We fight these cases in court and police stations to ensure that your right to care for these animals is never taken away. Whether it is an illegal relocation attempt or a ban on feeding in your society, we are here to support you.
We also help in evidence management, including securing CCTV footage of harassment incidents, ensuring you have what you need to hold aggressors accountable. You do not have to fight this alone.
Karan Puri Foundation
We are the Karan Puri Foundation, and we believe street animals are part of our community, not outsiders. We don't just post on social media; we are on the ground in police stations and courtrooms, fighting for the people who spend their days feeding and caring for the voiceless.
