About this collection
Posing is where the magic happens. Many people feel awkward in front of a lens, especially in heavy ethnic wear, so I focus heavily on active, guided posing that makes your outfit drape naturally and feel graceful rather than stiff.
When I photograph ethnic wear, my priority is the texture and movement of the fabric. Whether it is a heavy silk saree or a sequin-heavy lehenga, I adjust my lighting to highlight the embroidery details without washing out the colors. I use a mix of studio strobes for that high-fashion editorial feel and soft daylight for a more natural, traditional look.
We start every session with a mood board to define the aesthetic. You might want a bold, high-contrast look for a brand campaign, or something more understated for a personal portfolio. I walk you through every pose, ensuring your posture looks confident and relaxed, not staged.
I offer two main ways to shoot:
- Single Look Portfolio: 45-60 minutes, perfect for updating your personal portfolio or social feed.
- 4-Hour Commercial Session: Ideal for brands launching a collection, covering up to 15 SKUs.
All sessions include color-correction and high-end retouching. My goal is to capture the grace of your outfit so it looks as stunning in a photo as it does in real life.
